TACOMA

City of Tacoma

Tacoma is the second largest city in the Puget Sound, located between Seattle and Olympia, serving as the center of business activity for the South Sound region. Tacoma, locally known as the "City of Destiny", is a port city chosen years ago to be the western terminus of the Northern Pacific Railroad when the city aquired the motto, "When rails meet sails". Tacoma is currently experiencing tremendous growth throughout the area including the increasingly popular Ruston/Waterfront and Hilltop areas.
